The featured media file is usually a short audio snippet, in .mp3 format.  The featured media file is changed at irregular intervals.

The present selection has been featured since 20110829, and is a recent recording of Virinchi Joglekar singing Raaga Bihaag.  This performance was part of the 2011 GuruPournima celebrations of his music school in Pune, 'Arun Music Class'.

Virinchi renders two traditional (पारंपारिक) compositions in Raaga Bihaag :  The Vilambit (slow) composition is in JhapTaal,  and the Drut (faster) composition is in TeenTaal.

Violin accompaniment was provided by Mr Ravi Sidhaye.  The tabla was played by Mr Hanumant Phadtare'.  Virinchi  himself played the tanpura.
